23rd Power Systems Computation Conference (PSCC’24) to be held at CentraleSupelec on 3-7 June 2024
The Power Systems Computation Conference addresses theoretical developments and computational aspects with respect to power systems applications. There is an emphasis on modelling and simulation for understanding a system of components, plants or actors, the interactions between them and their collective behaviour, and methods to inform decision-making in power systems.
IFAC Workshop on Control Applications of Optimization – 18th CAO 2022 at CentraleSupélec
International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) announced the organization of the 18th IFAC in Gif sur Yvette, on the CentraleSupelec Campus from 18 to 22 July 2022. IFAC-CAO Workshop aims to offer a forum for the presentation of the latest contributions and developments in the topics related to the theory of optimal control and the optimization-based design in automation and decision-making processes. It targets, in particular, the use of new methods and technologies to solving relevant problems in industry and address the latest challenges in society.
The event will give specialists in the fields of optimal control, differential games, and optimization an opportunity to share their experiences with practitioners, to discuss new research directions and new problems that are arising, and to outline scientific and commercial applications. One aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers and engineers, applied economists and environmental scientists, providing an up-to-date survey of the major applications of optimization for control purposes and for decision making in economics and in the industry. The workshop will be preceded by workshops and tutorials for young researchers.
International Society of Difference Equations (ISDE) Board of Directors has favorably voted for our proposal to organize the International Conference on Difference Equations and Applications (ICDEA). We will welcome you for the ICDEA in 2022, from 18 to 22 July.

Workshop on Energy Storage Systems
On October 10-11, 2019 our research group organized the iCode Workshop on « Modelling and optimization of energy storage systems » with a focus on Zinc-airflow batteries. Several collaborators presented their recent work and discussed open problems in the field.
