Ruche

The Moulon computing centre (CentraleSupélec, ENS and Université Paris-Saclay) operates Ruche.

Hardware

• 192 CPU nodes: 7,680 cores, 516 TFLOPS.
• 14 shared-memory CPU nodes: 1,104 cores, 75 TFLOPS.
• 15 GPU computing nodes, with four V100 or four A100 GPUs per node.
• Two GPU visualisation nodes.

Operating costs

The purchase was funded through a State-Region planning agreement (CPER). Operating costs are borne by the user laboratories. European, ANR and industrial projects consuming substantial computing time may be charged.

Rates listed for partners (CentraleSupélec, ENS and Université Paris-Saclay) in 2024:

• CPU: €0.009 per hour.
• GPU: €0.802 per hour.
