
Idriss MERAH
Idriss MERAH is a CIFRE PhD candidate in telecommunications, conducting his research through a collaboration between Orange and CentraleSupélec –L2S "Sustainable 6G". He holds a State Engineering degree in Electronics and Signal Processing as well as a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from Ecole Nationale Polytechnique of Algeria-Algiers. He also earned an MSc in Telecommunications from Sorbonne University (formerly UPMC). His doctoral research, entitled “PHY/MAC Optimization for Next Generation Wireless Networks: Design-To-Impact”, focuses on the joint optimization of the PHY and MAC layers in next-generation wireless networks, with a particular emphasis on 6G systems. The objective is to reduce the carbon footprint of wireless networks while meeting Quality of Service (QoS) constraints. He is supervised by Prof. Michel Kieffer and Prof. Salah Eddine Elayoubi. / Université Paris-Saclay
