Zeidan Braik is a PhD student with the ROC team at CEDRIC, CNAM, and is affiliated with the MultiNet team at L2S, CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Saclay. He has been conducting his doctoral research since June 17, 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Secci (Full Professor, CNAM) and Prof. Sahar Hoteit (Associate Professor HDR, CentraleSupélec), with co-supervision from Prof. Stéphane Rovedakis (Associate Professor, CNAM) and Prof. Francesca Fossati (Associate Professor, Sorbonne Université).

He obtained his Master’s degree (M2) in Mathematical Optimization from Université Paris-Saclay in 2023. His master’s thesis internship was carried out at CMAP, École Polytechnique (Institut Polytechnique de Paris), focusing on invariance in derivative-free evolutionary algorithms, under the supervision of Prof. Anne Auger (Research Director, Inria Saclay) and Prof. Nikolaus Hansen (Research Director, Inria Saclay). He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from An-Najah National University, Nablus, Palestine, in 2021.

His research interests lie in the integration of mathematical optimization and game-theoretic tools for resource allocation problems, with a particular focus on fairness and applications to networking systems.
